The Finance Management Training Programme will run over 8 weeks with a weekly online session. The focus will be a little different from our previous programmes and will cover the important topics of:
- Board management: What does it take to develop and sustain a high functioning and high impact board in the NGO sector? What are the best practices, tools and frameworks for developing a high impact board that delivers value to the organisations mission?
- Getting the basics right: What are the critical financial and governance systems and practices that you need to have in place to future proof your organisation and ensure that you have smooth due diligence experiences with funders?
- Digital financial and governance tools: How can your organisation's financial and governance efficiencies be strengthened through the use of digital tools and AI? How do these impact positively on your ability to monitor and manage the finances of your programmes?
- Developing Strategic Risk Management and Sustainability Plans: How can your organisation get better at assessing and managing financial and operational risks? What are the best practices, tools and tips to develop risk management systems and processes that are practical and assist with the reality of building a sustainable organisation?
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this programme, participants must have mid-level management experience in Finance and Business Management or be a leader in the organisation at executive level.
