Job Title: NASCEE Programme Manager
Reports to: Chairperson of NASCEE Board
Position in the Company
The NASCEE Programme Manager will be based at Seriti Head Office, in Woodmead, Sandton, and will report to the Chairperson of the NASCEE board supported by the Seriti Partner Programme Manager. Seriti Institute acts as an independently contracted managing agent for NASCEE.
Scope of the Job
Strategic Management and Leadership
- Provide inputs into key strategic opportunities and implement NASCEE’s strategic plan
- Participate in NASCEE management and Board subcommittee meetings
- Provide input in the development of NASCEE Policies, Procedures, and Systems
- Ensure compliance with the code of corporate governance
Income Generation and Business Development
- Together with the NASCEE Board and sub-committees:
- Develop and implement strategies to diversify NASCEE’s revenue base and scale up membership
- Drive a strong marketing campaign to ensure the continued growth of NASCEE
- Prepare funding proposals, costing models, and budgets, as required
Project Management
- Project manage the implementation of the various membership offerings and training programs
- Evaluate member's training needs on an ongoing basis and implement interventions to address gaps
- Formulating activities and manage the implementation of the activities within clear time frames
- Provide coordination and project management support to the boards subcommittees
- Manage and coordinate all monitoring and evaluation requirements for the association
- Manage and coordinate all funder, partner and member reporting
- Manage and maintain the NASCEE membership database
- Project manage the NASCEE annual conference
Knowledge Management
- Develop mechanisms and practices to ensure the ongoing flow and development of appropriate knowledge
- Ensure that knowledge developed, and the programme initiatives are documented for purposes of communication and learning
- Raise NASCEE’s profile including through the dissemination of information about NASCEE offerings and programmes
- Supporting and promoting the NASCEE brand, activities and programme opportunities/outcomes on social media; coordinating and facilitating the social events and maintaining the social media and website profiles
- Represent NASCEE at the appropriate level as and when required

Qualifications
- A qualification in project management or business administration
- Three - five years of experience in project management role
- Three to five-year experience in programme administration and management
- Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal

This will be a fixed term position for 12 months, starting from 1 February 2023. Subject to renewal based on funding and performance. The package is between R500 000 - R600 000 (TCTC).
This is a middle management role.
Must have a South African ID or a valid work permit.
