Sunshine Day Care Center is an Early Childhood Development Center that strives to promote the establishment and maintenance of high-quality pre-school Educare programs within the community of Dobsonville and surrounding areas. The organization also provides a safe environment for the staff and the children while stimulating the children to reach their age-appropriate milestones. This organization strives to provide an Early childhood development experience in a loving and compassionate environment.

Sunshine Day Care and preschool is an organization that exists in its own right separate from its members and continues to exist even when its membership changes and there are different office bearers.

The primary objectives of this organization are to:
1. Promote the establishment and maintenance of a high-quality pre-school Educare program within the community of Dobsonville and surrounding areas
2. Provide a safe environment for the staff and the children.
3. Stimulate children to reach their age-appropriate milestones at all times
4. Educate children in all areas of basic education
5. Ensure that the premise of Sunshine Day Care and Preschool meets all requirements of an adequate preschool Educare program with all relevant statutory bodies.

Sunshine Day Care and preschool's secondary objectives are to:
1. Create a loving environment where all children can thrive.
2. Show compassion and understanding towards all children.
3. Create an environment where cultural differences are understood and accepted.
4. Provide stability for children and parents by ensuring reliable childcare.
5. Nurture relationships with the parents and or caregivers of the children to create a home away from the home environment.

The organization has been in operation for 15 years. We currently have about 50 children and 6 staff members. We are in operation from 7 am - 4 pm Monday to Friday.
