Training and Resources in Early Education (TREE) has been in existence for the last 39 years providing quality training and capacity development to the Early Childhood Development Workforce.

The focus is on empowering women from rural, most deprived communities. TREE has training centres in KwaZulu-Natal in two cities Durban, and Port Shepstone. Whilst saying that, the organization has footprints in five provinces, i.e. KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo and Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and we have recently expanded to the Northern Cape and Western Cape.

Since 1984, TREE has promoted and supported holistic and sustainable ECD programs for children in the birth to age 4 age cohort. TREE achieves this through providing access to quality accredited and enrichment ECD training, home and community-based interventions and resources provisioning which seek to improve the quality of life of young children.

Our vision is to establish ourselves as a globally recognised institution and a thought leader in the advancement of universal access to quality early childhood education throughout Africa and the world
