As an association NASCEE has a key role to play in facilitating and coordinating more effective and impactful collaboration across the education sector. To this end NASCEE is hosting an exciting conference series for its 148 member organisations and any other education NGOs, funders and stakeholders who would be interested in participating and learning more about NASCEE.

With the theme #WorkingBetterTogether, the 2023 Conference Series aims to strengthen partnerships with other NGOs, government, and funders to maximise impact through collaborative practice.

Expect stimulating plenary conversations, networking opportunities, and exciting keynote addresses.

To build a sense of ownership for our members, NASCEE will be taking the 2023 Conference Series to various regions as follows:

• Durban: 20 September 2023

• Cape Town: 11 October 2023

• Johannesburg: 02 November 2023

Venues: to be confirmed.

Members in other regions are welcome to attend any of the regional conferences as best suited to their convenience.

Non-members: There will be a cost of R250 per person to attend any of the conferences.

Members: Member organisations are limited to two delegates per organisation. For additional delegates there will be a charge of R250 per delegate.

Please note that the NASCEE Annual General Meeting will be held online from 09h00-11h00 on the 8th of November 2023.

Open call for participation

We would like to invite you, as our members, to actively participate in the conference. We are looking for:

• Organisations, who have a valuable collaboration experience, to give a 15-20 minute TED style talk to share this experience, insight and lessons learned (the collaboration could be with other NGOs, Government and or Funders).
• Organisations who would like to be part of the conference planning committee for each region. This would involve providing support in designing the conference programme, selecting, and supporting speakers and assisting with logistics. This will provide a great networking opportunity and chance to learn more about NASCEE.
