Hassiena is an experienced educator and leader with a master’s in education and extensive experience in teaching, curriculum development, and educational leadership. Currently serving as the Executive Director at the Global Teacher Institute. She worked as a head of education for three years at the Global Teacher Institute before being appointed as an executive director. Her previous experience includes facilitating Communities of Practice and organizing peer reviews for the SA Extraordinary Schools Coalitions project management for Bridge. She has also worked as the head of a department for Life Sciences at the Dominican Convent School for 6 years.
