AYDF develops and implements large-scale, evidence-based behaviour change programmes and builds the capacity of other organisations to do the same. With over 20 years of experience, AYDF works with NEET youth, equipping them to overcome challenges like substance abuse, school dropout, teenage pregnancy, and HIV/AIDS. Many participants go on to find employment, return to school, or start businesses. AYDF’s approach is rooted in Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory, addressing behaviour change through a systems lens. Their methodology targets root causes by enhancing protective factors and mitigating risk factors in the environments where young people grow up.
