Axium Education’s mission is to raise student achievement in rural South African communities. This year marks 15 years of work. From an initial science and maths focused team-of-two, Axium has grown to a staff of 300+ serving more than 7000 children in Grades R-12 in 40 schools spread across two districts. Hundreds of Axium alumni have accessed tertiary studies at universities or colleges across the country, with many returning to work as professionals in the communities we serve.
