1 in 4 children in South Africa have stunted growth due to malnutrition. We provide proper nutrition to impoverished children, ensuring improved childhood growth, development, and health. Our partners set up agricultural programmes and invest in community health.
Our commitment extends beyond academics to encompass emotional, social, and physical development, fostering resilience and self-esteem. Through tailored educational curricula, innovative play-based learning, and comprehensive health initiatives, we aim to empower each child to thrive despite adversity.
We ensure that impoverished and remote communities have access to primary health services through our Wellness Wagon program. Children receive health care services, vaccines, HIV and Tuberculosis testing as well as anti-retro-virals and adherence support.
Our team of social workers perform outreach in the most isolated villages so that vulnerable children can access their rights; from arranging birth certificates to government grants to ensuring they have a safe place to call home.
We train teachers to provide quality early childhood development education. We also equip preschools with learning materials, students with uniforms, transport and after school care and provide crèche services which allow child carers to continue their education.
